I was just thinking the other day about how different things are today vs. even 3-5 years ago. Youβve got a million ways to make money online through a thousand different mechanisms. I think the part that gets tough is picking and choosing.
Focus is extremely difficult! More difficult than ever. I never thought I was someone who had any sort of ADHD, but when I see all these things I could be doing, it is really challenging to pick something and lock in on it (which is how I had my success in the past). My brain is generating ideas at some crazy rate but I just canβt do all the ideas π€£.
Weβve got sports betting (every night?!), crypto, stocks, meme coins, Tik Tok Shop, live shopping, Instagram, AIβ¦ thereβs just nonstop action, everywhere. This is the shit I love tbhβ¦ but I can also say itβs a bit overwhelming because I want to have my face buried in it like itβs a pile of cocaine (although, I have never done cocaine in my life but you get what I mean).
Moving onβ¦
Random Stuff From This Week π€
Should we be crowning his ass already? Everyone talking about Josh Allen being on a historic run, but holy shit, look at Lamarβs numbers this year!

Remember Eric Moulds? He had been sued by one women more than a decade ago for βknowingly spreading herpesβ and appeared to target βsingle mothers who were Buffalo Bills fans living in Western New York. This guy is single-handedly trying to stop the Bills Super Bowl run this year.

Letβs quickly compare the careers of Trevor Lawrence and Cam Rising. This will also be an interesting development to keep an eye on next year. Cam Rising will probably turn 40 and Lawrence may be unemployed.
What do these guys do on college campuses in their 8th year anyway?

This Bitcoin truly is unstoppable this year. Iβm expecting it to keep rising into 2025, but I donβt blame anyone for seeking other opportunities here (especially with the inauguration coming in January, which historically sends markets down temporarily).
Also, if you missed out, donβt get FOMO. We always see a 70% correction (even in bull markets it is common). If that doesnβt happen this time due to BTC being a more stable asset, we still may see 50% correction. Just be patient β donβt be going hard at these prices and buying the top. This is not fucking financial advice π.

Bitcoin
Many quality crypto projects are still actually undervalued relative to the stock market, especially when you consider the AI plays and the role of crypto in AI. I think if youβre looking to enter the market and make some shorter-term money, the alt coins have another leg up (not those fucking meme coins, people β more talking about legit projects with real world application or connections with AI projects). If you are holding for 5 years, itβs all in on Bitcoin.

This dinosaur $FIL aka Filecoin is being used in the real world.

Weβll see if adoption = price increase.
Anyone find it weird that Oregon is missing from this list? Look at Indiana up with the big boys.

TINAβs Matchup Analysis: Memphis vs. West Virginia (12/17/24)
Memphis Offense vs. West Virginia Defense
Memphis ranks 9th in total offense and excels in both passing and rushing. Seth Henigan's ability to exploit mismatches in West Virginia's weak secondary (265.5 passing yards allowed per game) will be a critical factor.
West Virginia struggles with turnovers, ranking 120th in interceptions thrown and only forcing 11 takeaways this season. Memphis' opportunistic defense will likely capitalize on these mistakes.
West Virginia Rushing Attack vs. Memphis Run Defense
West Virginia's strength lies in its ground game, led by Garrett Greene and Jahiem White, combining for over 1,470 rushing yards and 12 TDs.
Memphis has been solid against the run, allowing just 107.3 rushing yards per game (13th). This matchup may dictate West Virginiaβs ability to control the clock.
Seth Henigan vs. Garrett Greene
Henigan is the more polished passer, boasting a 63.5% completion rate and just six interceptions all year.
Greeneβs dual-threat capability adds unpredictability, but his inefficiency in the passing game (57.8% completion rate) and high turnover rate could hurt the Mountaineers.
Betting Trends
Memphis:
4-0 ATS in their last four bowl games.
3-0 ATS as a favorite of 5+ points this season.
West Virginia:
2-6 ATS in their last eight neutral-site games.
1-5 ATS in their last six non-conference games.
Prediction
Motivation and team cohesion are critical in bowl games. Memphis has everything to play forβfinishing in the Top 25, a bowl victory, and sending their seniors out with a win. Conversely, West Virginia is transitioning to a new head coach, dealing with opt-outs, and facing significant defensive challenges.
Memphisβ balanced offense and opportunistic defense will overwhelm West Virginia, especially with their superior passing game against the Mountaineersβ porous secondary. Expect Memphis to control the tempo, force turnovers, and pull away in the second half.
Final Score Prediction: Memphis 38, West Virginia 24
NFL Thoughts & Look Ahead π
My goodness the season has gone quicklyβ¦
The Bills are now favorites to win the Super Bowl. They look pretty damn good, but are they peaking too early? Their defense doesnβt give me confidence that theyβll win it all. You have to win games multiple ways in the playoffs.
The Lions are fading fast due to injuries. Itβs going to be hard to see them regain their dominance. They were the best team I watched play all season. They do really need that 1 seed to get as healthy as possible.
I really think the Packers are a dangerous team in the playoffs. They havenβt hit full stride, their defense is vastly improving, and theyβve got at least two young players on defense starting to look like stars. Theyβve done all of this without Jaire Alexander and without a high volume pass game. The WRs are also hitting strides lately with Christian Watson coming on as a big play threat.
I do feel the Eagles are the best all-around team in the league at this moment. There are not any glaring weaknesses and they have a super strong defense.
Are the Vikings just pretty good or are they really good? I donβt have a clue but I have to lean on Sam Darnold making mistakes in the playoffs. I canβt sit here and say I really trust Jordan Love, but I think I trust Love and the GB offense much more than Vikings in the playoffs. Vikings do have high upside, but theyβre really beating up on some poor teams and got all their wins early in the year against the βgoodβ teams.
At first glance for next week I like:
Rams -3.5 vs. Jets
Eagles -3 vs. Commanders
Panthers +4 vs. Cardinals
Browns +7 vs. Bengals
Final Thoughts
Letβs make some money this week! Lots of action coming up for the weekend so protect that bankroll and wait for good opportunities.
